Each of us was created uniquely with a purpose, and it is my passion and privilege to help highlight that purpose in those I meet through my work. We all have a story to tell, and I believe God uses our experiences, blessings, and hardships to shape us into who he has destined us to be. When we go through heartache, trauma, and pain, it’s easy to lose sight of God’s promises. However, through love, empowerment, and connection, healing is possible, and we can start to see God’s promises more clearly. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
My experience lies in:
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, families, and young adults, helping them to connect more deeply with themselves and others. I see the beauty and strength within those I work with and feel grateful for the opportunity to help them recognize their own strength and God’s love for them. As 1 John 4:16 reminds us, “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in them.”
I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from New Mexico State University and am currently licensed as an LCSW. My counseling approach incorporates:
Seeking support is a brave choice, and I am committed to meeting clients where they are emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I strive to provide a trusting, safe, and connected environment for healing. We are not alone in our challenges, and we don’t have to carry them alone. Isaiah 41:10 reassures us, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” I believe we are all here for a reason, meant to achieve our greatest selves and live out our lives with purpose and courage. It is an honor to support clients on that journey.
